Getting Started: Our Rhythms Practiced
How do we practice our rhythms in the busyness of everyday life and make them a reality in our discipleship to Jesus?
Our goal is to empower you to live out these rhythms and navigate the obstacles that get in the way. To help with this, we've created "sub-rhythms" that make it easier to begin integrating these practices into your life right now.
These "sub-rhythms" are simply an introduction and do not encompass the broad scope of Beholding, Becoming, and Belonging.
Our hope is that as you practice these discipleship rhythms, they will help establish a foundation for growing in the Lord and serve as a direct link to connecting to the life of The Springs. By embracing just a few of these next steps and practices, you'll quickly find yourself deepening your relationship with God and feeling more connected to the community and mission of the church.
Behold Jesus:
Through Prayer & The Scriptures
Getting Started:
-
Pray the Lord’s Prayer and Pray for your needs.
“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespass, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen.
-
Pray for the lost.
Pray for those who do not know Jesus by name. Pray they would experience the love of God. Ask God to empower you to reach the lost.
-
Pray Gratitude.
At the end of the day pray and give thanks to the Lord for all that you are grateful for.

Become like Jesus:
Growing as a Disciple
Getting Started:
-
Placing our faith in Jesus is not soley an act we do upon conversion, but it is a daily rhythm to be practiced until we’re face to face with Jesus.
A rhythm of faith means constantly relying upon Jesus and asking the Spirit to help us become more like Christ.
-
Every single day invites a new opportunity to turn from ourselves, our flesh, our false self, and turn towards our true self, which is in Christ.
What came up in your life, your heart, or your mind that the Spirit may be inviting you to repent of and experience grace in Jesus?
